Silent Cry holding things in

Why is it we hold things in? Is it because we are afraid of what people might say, or is it that we don't know how to let go of past hurts? or is it because we hold on to things that God wants us to let go of?

In today's society all around us seems to be failing, economic system, family relationships, health, business and workplace situations, lost children, divorce and so much more, it is important that people have something sturdy and reliable to hold on to.

It seems everyday we are fighting some kind of battle whether it be big or small. When we don’t know how to fight against the disappointments, heartache, confusion, depression, and all the emotional and spiritual downfall we have from these issues, we tend to hold things in.

We become desperate, violent, vicious and vile. John 10:10 tells us that the thief comes to kill, steal and destroy us. But, Jesus has come to give us life and that life more abundantly than the feelings of no hope.

I can attest that, I have held things in for many years, and still at times do only to find out it causes nothing but stress and anxiety which could lead to a stroke or heart attack. to answer the questions above, sometimes we hold things in because we may feel that people may think less of us and not feel accepted by society.

In reality all we have to do is be ourselves and talk to God and people will accept you for who you are, if they don't then they are not you true friends. When bad things happen, God feels our pain, is very present with us, and works to bring out the best in a bad situation.

I realized that we all go through struggles and hurt, but through Gods grace and faith we could conquer all our silent cries within. So Let Go and Let God.
